Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers

It's that time of year! You know, the time when the weather is beautiful, the days are longer and you are super stoked to get grilling! With the weekend ahead, summer finally here and Father's Day upon us I wanted to share this keto friendly and super delicious bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers recipe with you! 

You'll want to save this one because it's also awesome for game day! Yep! It's one of the dishes I always serve when we have people over to watch football and for sure on Super Bowl Sunday! 

You can cook this on the grill like we do or cook them in the oven.

Bacon Wrapped Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients: 

10 jalapeño peppers, halved, seeds and veins removed

12 ounces cream cheese, softened

8 ounced cheddar cheese, shredded

2 tablespoons chopped chives

20 strips of bacon ( not thick cut) 

1 tablespoon all purpose seasoning

 

Instructions: 

Preheat grill to 300 degrees. 

Cut the jalapeños in half, then remove seeds and veins. 

Mix cream cheese, shredded cheese and chives together. 

Fill the jalapeño halves with the cream cheese mixture. 

Wrap them in bacon. 

Place them on the grill until the bacon is nice and crispy. 

If cooking in the oven, preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange bacon-wrapped peppers on the prepared baking sheet and bake until the bacon is crispy, about 35 minutes.
