CINNAMON SUGAR KETO DONUTS

Sometimes you want a donut and sometimes you treat yo self and get one but you feel like crap afterward...am i right or am i right? That flour, sugar and grease can do a wild thing to our bodies, brains, energy, stomach and waist line dang it. So....keto donuts to the rescue! 

These are so good and instead of white flour they are made with coconut sugar. Rather than white cane sugar they are made with Swerve which doesn't spike blood sugar and make us feel funky! And BONUS!! These have MCT in them which is good for our brain power y'all! Sign me up big time! 

One thing you need is a donut pan which I found at Bed Bath n Beyond but I also found one on Amazon , Sur La Table & good old Target

CHANGE UP YOUR MORNING WITH THIS BREAKFAST SALAD

Yes you read that right....breakfast and salad in the same title! For real guys- this can be for breakfast, lunch or dinner!! It is so good, it's super easy & it's low carb!
Woohoo- don’t you love meals like this?
 
Ingredients:
2 large eggs
5 ounces organic mixed greens
2 T olive or avocado oil
A dash of himalayan salt and a dash of pepper
1 avocado, thinly sliced
A handful of grape tomatoes, halved
6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
 
Directions:
Soft boil the eggs ( to do this, add water to a saucepan over high heat, bring to a boil, out the eggs on to softball, turn the heat down to med-high and cook for 6 min)
While the eggs are cooking toss the greens with the oil and season with s & p. Divide that between two bowls.
Top the greens with the avocado slices, grape tomatoes and bacon.
When the eggs are done, peel them , cut them in half and place two halves on top of each salad. Season with a little more s & p and serve! Enjoy!

MINI TACO STUFFED PEPPERS

These are super tasty and low carb! No tortilla needed!
 
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 1 b ground beef
  • 1 package taco seasoning mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1-1/2 lbs mini bell peppers
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

 

  • Cilantro Cream Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
DIRECTIONS:
  • Preheat oven to 350 °.
  • Slice 1/3 of the pepper off lengthwise, reserving for later use. Seed the peppers. Peppers naturally have one side that is straighter than the other. When slicing the top of your bell peppers, try to slice the side that is curvier off so that the flat side remaining is the side we are stuffing.
  • Chop the reserved peppers finely and set aside 3/4 cup.
  • In 10-inch skillet, cook beef and reserved 3/4 cup chopped peppers over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix and water. Cook over medium heat 5-10, stirring occasionally. Let mixture slightly cool.

HOMEMADE KETO BAGELS

I don't always do keto but when I do I made these keto bagels!!

Homemade bagels...what??? And guess what- they are not only super delicious but they are SOOOOO EASY to make!!!!! This recipe can make either 4 nice sized ones or 8 smaller ones ( 4 net carbs in case you are curious). 

Here is the recipe!!! Enjoy! 

KETO BAGELS

Ingredients: 

1 1/2 cups almond flour

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsl sea salt

2 eggs beaten

1/4 tsp xanthan gum

2 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

Directions: 

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add eggs and xanthan gum. Melt cheese in microwave safe bowl for 2 minutes until melted. Combine all ingredients into one bowl and mix together. Coat hands with coconut oil then shape into bagels. To make it easier I recommend separating the dough into equal parts then rolling in between hands to form a long rope then make a circle and gently pinch the ends together to form a bagel. Sprinkle the dough with "Everything Bagel"...

HOW TO DRINK YOUR KETONES FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE

About 15 months ago a good friend of mine mentioned exogenous or pure therapeutic ketones and I was soooo curious. I was also skeptical because that's how I am especially when I hear about something I can eat or drink.
